Love never fails....And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Go Ducks!
Well, if you don't know I am a huge Alabama football fan. Huge is putting it mildly. I went to the University of Alabama. I haven't missed a home game since the 2003 season. I bleed crimson. The dog my parents got before they had me was named Bear. It never seemed odd to have a dog named Bear. You've seen pictures of my apartment. I currently have 7 Daniel Moore prints of iconic moments in Alabama football history. I had an Alabama themed Christmas tree. Most of the days that I have missed school was because of Alabama football. I have yet to meet a girl that knows more about football than me. There are a lot of guys that don't know as much as I do. Everyone that knows me personally know my obession with Alabama football. So ever since the BCS game was announced as Auburn v. Oregon everyone has been asking, "So Alisha, who are you cheering for?" Some people have the mentality that as long as Alabama isn't playing against Auburn it is ok to cheer for Auburn. Some people think that once the regular season is over that you should become a cheerleader for the SEC conference. I am not either one of those kinds of people. I am of the belief that you should NEVER EVER cheer for your rival. Let it also be known that I have no respect for this Auburn team, especially $cam Newton and Nick Fairley. $cam Newton shouldn't be playing. Nick Fairley has good numbers for sacks and 15 yard personal foul calls. He speared Aaron Murray (UGA quarterback) in the back with his helmet. He should have been kicked out of the game for that. He also got several late hits on Murray while going for his knees. I think the way $cam Newton cheered at the Iron Bowl, long after everyone on his team had gone into the locker room, was incredibly tacky. I think it is laughable that Auburn is so in love with a player who hasn't been on campus that long, will bring you tons of sanctions, and will soon declare for the draft. That is if the NFL is able to pay him more. There was also way too many obnxious fans at the game. I have been in Auburn when we have won and lost. There is a different way to celebrate when you are the away team. One of their trashy fans, a male, put his hands on my mom's shoulders and said, "That was a good game, wasn't it?!" Luckily, I was not near her when this happened. I don't have good self control over my mouth. Truthfully, when I am angry I have little to no control over my mouth. So I don't respect the players. I don't respect the fact that they are paying for their players. It's true. It will fully come out soon enough and they will face serious NCAA sanctions. I would also like to point out to the people thinking that it would be so neat for the state of Alabama to have back to back football championships that that could have happened years ago. In 1992 Alabama beat the University of Miami to win the National Championship. The following year Auburn went undefeated, but they didn't play for a championship. Why? Because they were on probation for paying their players! Shocking I know! Here is video from every Alabama fan's favorite tiger Eric Ramsey. Why do I know so much about Auburn's perfect 1993 season? Simple, I child I used to babysit for would choose to watch that a lot when I came over to babysit.
Now I don't dislike Alabama fans that are cheering for Auburn. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, which is why I really DISLIKE people telling me why I should cheer for Auburn. I have my own brain thank you very much. I don't need/want yours. I have friends that I love dearly that went to Auburn. And they love me despite our football differences.
