My macaroni and cheese waiting to go into the much prettier platter.

My mac and cheese waiting for the oven to heat up.

My finished macaroni and cheese!

I added in to the directions to preheat the oven. It wasn't in the original directions so when I got to the "put it in the oven" step I had to wait for the oven to heat up. At least, hopefully, I won't make that mistake twice.
*Note: I made Mama's Mac and Cheese. I will try the other mac and cheese version later
My George Forman Grill/current guy in my life

The seasoning I used for my pork chops. I got way overzealous with this stuff. After I had used a lot of it I thought to call mom and ask how much I should use. She said to sprinkle it on like it was salt. I had sprinkled WAY too much.
See way to much seasoning

My finished pork chops. They were a bit messy due to my overzealous spicy self.
Mom told me to try to scrape off as much of the seasoning as I could, which I did. It still left the meat really spicy. Oh, well. I lived. I learned.

My Jordan Cinnamon Love Knots courtesy of Christy Jordan lovely author of the Southern Plate website! I really want to meet her. I might just start stalking the grocery stores trying to find her. She lives here in Madison! I was very proud of myself for making these. It is a yeast bread which had made me nervous, but I crossed my fingers, said a prayer, and did my best. It worked!
