a quick weekend recap

Here is a quick recap of my weekend. A much longer Easter post will come soon. It is too late to try it tonight. It wouldn't be fair to all my Easter pictures to try to put them together hastily. You can look forward to fun cooking pictures. I made a chocolate chip cheesecake and strawberry pie. There is also Easter pictures of me and the family.

Aside from cooking on Saturday, I went and got fitted for Ashley's bridesmaid dress. I love it! It is definitely my favorite thus far. This is my 3rd time to be a bridesmaid. I also went to this cute store in Huntsville called Zazzy's. It has fun, cutsy things. I found this super cute badge reel for school. My Alabama lanyard broke a while back :(





I got this super cute red and white polka-dot basket to carry my school things in. It would also be fun for beach trips, or trips of any kind. It really makes me want to go on a picnic :)


We went to see The Last Song on Saturday. It was a good movie. The book was better, as always. I kept wispering to Becca throughout the movie telling her the parts that were different from the book. She said later that she has no reason to read the book, because I already told her what would happen. I really wish movie producers would stay true to the book. The book was good the way it was written. Why change it?
