Christmas wreath

my artwork from My Spirited Art. I like being artsy although it isn't natural to me. I had to remind myself while painting that $10 of the cost was going to CAJA/CASA of Madison County. It's a charity to help kids in the foster care system. It was tons of fun going with the theta alum chapter.

I made 5 for my other first grade teachers as a Christmas present. If only I had thought to make another one for myself...


I got two hurrican glasses from my mom for my birthday. I used beans to decorate them. I got the idea from pinterest. Love, love, love pinterest! The lady at publix was rather confused about why I would be buying split green peas.

This year we did Elf on the Shelf. Our elf's name was Carter. The kids loved it and their behavior improved. Usually the month of December is a rough one in terms of discipline.
